The goma wada hub in DRC took time to sit down, reflect, admire and celebrate the accomplishments during 2022 and the outlook for the coming year. The hub is young and mostly made of students passionated of technologies at isdr/gl in Dem. Rep. Of Congo. we’re doing several activities and most of them thanks to Wada
who is one of our important partners.
Activities in 2022 :
- Weekly meet-up since Oct 2020 to promote Cardano Blockchain
- Onboarding the french community though capacitation on cardano blockchain (training PAs and facilitating newbies in project catalyst…)
- Hosting the Cardano Summit in 2021 and 2022 continues to have an impact (T-shirts, Posters, etc.) more here.
- We have in the team 4 developers and technical professional
- Plutus and Atala-Prism Project based learning with a support from Wada
- Public secretariat (like a library) where we offer some services to students.

Funded project:
The GOMA hub has submitted in fund 9 of the cardano project catalyst a proposal with socio-environmental impact for erosion control in zones of high risk around Goma. More information here.
